Look Alive Fest and Poplife are proud to present an extremely rare performance by Royal Trux, a legendary long-running deconstructionist art project formed in the late 80s by songwriters and former romantic partners Jennifer Herrema and Neil Hagerty. Throughout their career, Royal Trux deftly reimagined sounds lifted from rock history, filtering them through Miles Davis’s distinctive Bitches Brew approach to songwriting: “everything in the pot whether you like it or not.”
If Churchill's Pub were a band, it'd be Royal Trux. This is the real head experience and you're a no good fool if you miss it.
Look Alive Fest 2017 is presented in partnership with Poplife Presents with generous support from Radio-Active Records. Look Alive Fest remains committed to elevating the work of experimental artists and musicians during Miami Art Week.
