It is with heavy heart that I reach out to all my friends to share the beautiful story of how The Cornerstoners (My band) and I came to know the great LA based band, Jamstain. We planned a West Coast Tour in 2009. One of the shows was at Mr. T's Bowl in LA and my contact for the gig was a guitar player named Ryan and his band was called Jamstain, a Funk Jam Psychedelic Heavy Groove trio that consisted of him and his two best friends and rhythm section, the Hubbard brothers, Aidan and Ainsley. We all had an idyllic & memorable time that night and maintained a friendship with them.

A couple of years later they came to Miami to play with us on one of their many National tours at Tobacco Road. They even stayed in my home at the time and thus, our connection became stronger. Years after, our drummer Alana moved to LA and began gigging with Jamstain frequently and soon became like family. On top of being some of the most amazing musicians (super sick) we ever played with, the boys of Jamstain are the kindest, sweetest dudes we'd ever met.
The reason behind my writing this is because a few weeks ago, 2 of my dear friends, 2 of the most talented musicians in the world, 2 brothers who grew up their entire lives playing music together, Aidan and Ainsley Hubbard, while returning home from a concert they had just played, were killed in a tragic car accident due to the negligence of a drunk driver.
I know what these guys would have done for me, my family, my tribe had it been my brother & I in this horrible misfortune.

I am organizing a satellite benefit concert for Aidan and Ainsley on Sunday, February 26 at Churchills in support and memory of these great guys who's music and magic touched my life & so many others throughout the world. All proceeds from the door will be given to the Hubbard family to help with hospital and funeral bills.
